Wentworth CM Club Takes on Canstruction 2021

Updated: Oct 8

The CM Club will be participating in Canstruction 2021 and is looking for student volunteers to help!

Every year, Canstruction brings together the construction industry for a good cause, building sculptures out of canned goods which are later donated to local food banks. This is a great opportunity for students to get involved and participate in an event for such a good cause.

We will be holding a Coordination Meeting Wednesday, October 6th from 5-7pm in the Annex Concrete Lab. All students who can are encouraged to attend to help determine logistics around delivering the cans and building the sculpture.

On Saturday, October 9th from 8am to 8pm, we will be assembling our structure at the Boston Architecture Space. This is a great opportunity for networking in addition to building the structure.

This Boston Architecture Space is located at 290 Congress St #200, Boston, MA 02210. Students should plan on arranging their own transportation. The space is accessible via the T. From Wentworth, students can take the Green Line from Huntington Ave to Park Street, then transfer to the Red Line and get off at South Station. The BSA Space is only a few minute walk from South Station.

Please email cmclub@wit.edu with further questions. We hope to see you there!
